What we collect and why
When you send an enquiry through this site, we receive the details you choose to give us: your name, email address, telephone number if you provide one, and whatever you write in your message. We use this information for one purpose, which is to respond to you and to arrange the stay, placement, or property conversation you asked about. The lawful basis is that the processing is necessary for the steps you have asked us to take before entering into an agreement, and our legitimate interest in answering the people who write to us.
This site also keeps a small amount of information in your own browser's local storage to make the site work, for example remembering dates you have entered. That information stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings. See the Cookie Notice for the detail.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone. Your enquiry is delivered to us by email or, when connected, by a form delivery provider acting on our instructions. We use established providers for email and hosting, and they process data only to provide those services to us.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, and no longer. If you become a guest, information relating to your stay is kept for the period required by law and good accounting.
Your rights
- You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
- You can ask us to correct it or delete it.
- You can object to or ask us to restrict our use of it.
- You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk if you believe we have not treated your information properly.
